This exhibition will explore the limits of what you
create when you hear the phrases Contemporary Landscapes or Contemporary
Seascapes. Some artists will portray classic scenes while others
will delve into abstract realms. We hope to see paintings, photography,
mixed media, metal, and ceramic wall art.
Awards of cash and merchandise have a cumulative cash value
of over $1,000. Each award includes a merit certificate. 1st Award
is $250, Jurors Award and 2nd Award are $150 each, 3rd Award
is $75, Peoples Choice Award is $50.
Honorable Mentions: $50 gift certificate.
Sponsors Award: $200.
Eligible works: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, collage,
drawing, photography, mixed media, ceramic, metal and fiber.
Works must be 256 square inches or smaller (such as 16 x
16 inches or 20 x 12.8 inches) inclusive of framing.
Work must have finished edges and be framed, wired, and ready
Work must be original and never shown before at Beauty Art
Artists may submit a max. of 3 works.
All works must be for sale and priced at $395 or less.
Beauty Gallery reserves the right to exclude any artwork
that does not meet exhibition standards.

Claire Haik is a painter, printmaker, and sculptor whose work focuses
on natural imagery and an examination of the hidden processes that
exist beneath the visual exterior of nature. Haik received her Certificate
of Fine Art in traditional oil painting from the Pennsylvania Academy
of Fine Art where she was awarded the Lois and Charles X Carlson
Landscape Residency for her work on regional landscapes from Philadelphia
to New York. In 2015, she earned a Masters degree from the
School of Visual Arts in New York. Her scientifically-inspired imagery
has been published by SciArt in America and by Issues in Science
and Technology. She teaches at Wayne Art Center and Chester Springs
Studio in Pennsylvania. Her work can be found at galleries throughout
