Patricia OHalloran has lived in Africa,
Europe and the United States. She has lived amid unrest and peace.
Those experiences have fostered her love of the preciousness of
simple rituals and objects a sliced plum, a cup of tea, harvesting
a backyard garden, a bouquet, an orchard, a milk cow, a person pausing
amid everyday life. Interpreting these ordinary objects and scenes,
OHalloran often imbues them with a surreal beauty or enhanced
saturation of color.
OHalloran studied at the Pennsylvania Academy
of Art. Her works will be on display at Beauty through Spring 2012.
She is a gallery artist.
